MCPod
MCPod is a small, hexagonal keychain device that keeps you company while you work with Claude. It has no screen: it speaks with light and sound, and you answer with a single button.
It does two things, at the same time:
- Your Claude companion, over Bluetooth. It shows what your Claude sessions are doing at a glance - calm blue when idle, orange when Claude is working, red when Claude needs your permission - and you approve or deny right from the device, with a press of the button.
- An MCP device you can talk to, over WiFi. It runs an MCP server onboard, so any MCP-capable AI assistant (Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor and others) can call it: ask it the room temperature, how it is doing, or tell it to change color or play a light show - in plain language.
What's inside
- an ESP32-S3 (WiFi + Bluetooth);
- RGB LEDs for the light cues;
- a buzzer for sound (chimes and little jingles);
- a tactile button for your input;
- a temperature / humidity / pressure sensor;
- USB powered (no battery to charge).
